Carving Pumpkins

On Monday we got to go to Aunt Shellie's and Uncle Joe's to Carve Pumpkins. It is luckily Daddy's new day off so after school he came over and got to help by help we mean he carved them all.

Party, Party

All the Halloween fun has started. They went to a Party at Cousin Oscars last week. Madison is a Mermaid and Hannah is a lady bug but wanted to wear her new play costume she got from Aunt Heather and Uncle Russell. Then on Saturday we went to Aunt Shellie's Ward to their Halloween party and got lots of candy and prizes, Hannah won a baby doll at the fishing game that is the most cherished prize.

Cake

Grandma made Hannah a Kitty cake with some animals on it, she loves animals. Blowing out the candles was an experience with her not being able to blow but after some help she finally got it.

It didn't take her long to figure out tearing in to the presents. She did wonder why we would let her open the present and then not let her play with it, cause we would hand her another one. She got a Magna Doodle, A stuffed talking dog, A vacuum, clothes and Play shoes (Hannah loves shoes), she got a new woobie (her blankie) and a new baby doll.

Presents

So the Sunday after Hannahs B-day she finally got to go to Grandma and Grandpas and open her presents. So we hurried over after church changed our clothes and got down to business.

Hannah's 2 years old.

After the Park, Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Adam and Uncle Jon came over for dinner. We had a great time playing with the balloons Hannah got from the store and having company over.

Hannah's Birthday

So the reason that we explain Mike's circumstances is not for sympathy but is so you understand our point of view. Last Friday was our little Hannah's second Birthday, Mike was luckily out of school that day so he got to be home in the morning that was present alone for Hannah. They both acted like it was Christmas morning. We went and got breakfast from the Macdonald's and then went to the park. They both had a great time. We didn't do anything extravagant but it was one of those simple times that was the best time.

Where's Daddy

So unfortunately with the economy the way it is, Ebay where Mike works and Loved his job had to cut over a thousand people. We are soooo grateful that Mike still has a job but because of the all the firings they have had to move people around to where they need them. Mike was moved to a job that he started out his career doing and does not really enjoy mainly because it comes with a 24/7 schedule. He goes to school in the morning then to work, 3 days a week he gets off at 9:00 and the other two he gets off at 11:00. So the girls usually don't see him for a week at a time. Now they would like him to work Saturdays and Holidays and he goes up to school on Saturdays as well. So the hits seem to keep on coming. We count are blessings every day because we have so many and we know it could be so much worse but this has definitely been a challenge for our little Family. All in all we know the best is yet to come and that everything will work out.

Snow already

We like to go Hot and Cold here in Utah there is no in between . Madison was I think the only one that was excited that it snowed for several days. She was upset that there was not enough to make a snow man, we would like to rake up the leaves that have not fallen first. We don't even want to know what it would look like if we had snow and fallen leaves because all those trees you see behind our house are ours. Don't worry we went back to the 70's for a couple of days but now we are on our way back to the cold. If it keeps up it is going to be a very long Winter.

zzzzz

Hannah did a comfort test on the new carpet. I think we passed.

The Home Stretch

We are in the home stretch to baby Chloe. We are down to the 2 week visits. Mommy does not mind being pregnant but she would not mind having the full ability to breath back. Baby Chloe loves the ribcage. The doctor you know always asks if she is moving around often, the more appropriate question would be does your baby ever stop moving. You know its bad when every time you have an ultrasound or they try and listen to her heart they have a hard time getting her to hold still. We attribute this quality to her Father, if you know him you know why. She has almost a constant case of the hiccups and they like to last the longest at about 4 a.m.. I know this sounds like complaining but we are glad she is doing so well even if it means a little discomfort. We wont rush it to much because we do have a lot to do before she is here but we are excited that it is winding down.

New Carpet

Apparently getting new carpet at our house is a big event. The girls sat and watched the workers every move. Madison even made sure to let him know that the tack strips were exposed. I'm sure that he enjoyed all of the input.
